Session Info
Q: First thing first… what’s this going to cost me?
A: That is a great question and it is one of the FIRST that are asked of me. Investing in my photography comes in two (2) parts. The first is the session fee, that varies depending on the day – Monday – Thursday is only $75 and a Friday – Sunday session is only $125. The second part is completely up to you. I will bring in the photos from our session and present them to you along with a lot of print options. We’ll work together to find the photo(s) you absolutely LOVE that are sized to fit the exact spots in your home. On average, families spend between $300 – $600, some a little more. Q: Couples & Kids only???!!! Don’t you photograph families too?
A: Well, SURE I do! I tailor my sessions and put myself in a certain mindset when I am with your family versus just with you the couple and a different midset when I am with the kiddos.
Q: Ok, that sounded kinda kooky – what’s with this ‘mindset’ stuff?
A: For example, when I work around kids, I make sure I am on their level – LITERALLY. I spend a lot of time sitting or kneeling and I work to get into their world. I make up fun little things for them to do and just ask them a lot, just to get them talking and comfortable with me. Having kids of my own really helps me communicate with the littler ones of the group

Q: We are pretty busy, how much time do I need to set aside for a session?
A: You can plan on about an hour of actual photographing, usually a little less. This doesn’t count for the travel (if any) to the location for the session.
Q: Where do you do these sessions?
A: Simple, anywhere you feel is best. When we chat about your perfect photographs, it will become clear to us if your home is best or a park, the beach, or a cool downtown location. No matter what, it will be a custom session for you.
Q: OK, so now what? What do we do next?
A: The process is simple, and goes a little like this:

We have a short (15 minute) chat about your PERFECT session

We schedule the session and the presentation date and I collect the session fee

On the day of the session, we meet and have a great time making photographs together

On the presentation date, I come to your home with a HD projector and portable screen and speakers to share with you a slideshow of your photographs If you desire, you’ll order prints at the presentation date

I return to the studio, place your order and deliver it when it is complete
